Apart of the Junior Rugby Union law review, which aimed to make the game more appropriate and accessible at every age level, this project focused on ensuring match officials and coaches were clearly aligned on the rules of each game.

Working closely with the Rugby Australia team, we developed a design style that would resonate with a younger audience while bringing a sense of personality to the brand’s facilitation journey. At the same time, it was important the work still felt credible and trustworthy to more senior viewers both inside and outside the Rugby Australia organisation.

To maintain brand consistency, we applied the existing colour palette and typography while developing a visual layout system that could clearly and cohesively present the information behind the junior laws.

The final outcome included a suite of more than 60 custom logo icons and over 20 informational posters and flip cards, designed to be printed and used across both large and small formats.
